UK market leader Sky has a strong track record in finding new ways to entertain, engage and reward its customers. During the recent half-term break, they wanted to reward loyal subscribers with an interactive experience that provided high engagement across all age groups whilst promoting a major movie franchise available on its channels.
In partnership with Wizarding World, the idea for The Big Harry Potter Quiz was born - a live, interactive experience for families all over the country to test their knowledge and win Hogwarts-related goodies.
Creating a tailored, seamless live quiz experience at scale is no easy task but thanks to the Monterosa / Interaction Cloud, Sky were able to do exactly that in a matter of weeks. With a range of multiple-choice, free text and pick-a-number questions, families competed against each other to gain points and climb the leaderboard. Prizes were awarded to highest scorers on each round as well as overall - and for funniest team-names and best costumes. All of this meant that an incredible 93% of visitors to the experience played every round across the hour-long event.
