Liverpool FC and Monterosa win major industry award for digital match day innovation

The adoption of Monterosa / Interaction Cloud has allowed Liverpool FC to launch a new Match Centre and a rich variety of interactive experiences capturing fans' attention, and now they’ve garnered the recognition of industry leaders at this year’s Football Business Awards. 


Liverpool FC and Monterosa are over the moon excited to have won the recognition for Best Use of Technology at The Football Business Awards ceremony, which took place on September 23rd in London. 


The partnership between these two forward-thinking businesses, which started to keep fans closer to the game they love during the lockdowns of 2020, soon became a new dynamic and fun way to engage with fans before, during, and after match day. 


Today, the new Match Centre consolidates an array of interactive and gamified experiences that include the new score-predictor, polls, trivia, voting and “Klopp o’meter live match commentary, video, and social coverage all supported by a live real-time commentary feed from Anfield.
