Digital Product Designer, London

Our digital products are global, regularly reach the #1 App Store spot, and break new ground in fan interaction. We're looking for someone to come and help to design a new generation of digital ideas, products and pitches in entertainment and sports.

We're open to working with people from diverse backgrounds.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Crafting engaging visual designs for apps, webapps and other digital products
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients in workshops and idea sessions
  • Taking projects from idea to completion across a portfolio of growing, big-name clients
  • Design presentations for pitches and client documentation
  • Present your concepts and design rationale internally and to clients
  • Deliver screens, assets and prototypes to a high standard
  • Work in cross-disciplinary project teams with your Product, Producer and development teammates

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Exceptional visual design skills and the portfolio to prove it
  • Professional experience, ideally within either an agency or a media company’s product design team
  • Experience designing mobile and tablet apps for iOS and Android, as well as responsive web design
  • Some UX knowledge including best practices, common patterns, and the ability to spot and suggest UX improvements across our in-house products.
  • In-depth knowledge of current visual and interactive design trends
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for digital
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, but still produce and care about your work
  • Excellent typography and layout skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills, able to juggle and prioritise multiple projects
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in Sketch and Adobe creative suite
  • Additional skills in prototyping and motion design software
  • Interest in TV, sports and entertainment

    We're looking for a mid-weight digital producer with 3-5 years of experience in managing digital product development within media or technology industries. 

    Digital producers at Monterosa get to develop and deliver some of the most successful apps globally within entertainment and sport. A combination of project management, product management, creative development and client communication, Monterosa producers are the multi-talented driving force behind all of our client projects. 

     

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • A background in digital product management, production or project management within a digital/mobile agency or TV environment
    • Delivery experience of mobile web and native iOS and Android apps
    • Agile experience, as scrum master or equivalent
    • A fan of the lean startup philosophy
    • Customer focus and positive, can-do attitude
    • Commercial understanding of the business context in which you work
    • High-level technical understanding, comfortable in a dev team standup
    • Excellent written skills in English
    • Fluency in other European languages a plus, but not a requirement
    • Strong communication skills: running meetings, pitching ideas, phone calls with clients
    • Calm and proactive approach
    • A sharp eye for detail and quality
